The original watercolour illustration is part of a series of eight fishes which I painted to create a bespoke textile print pattern for the Worshipful Company of Fishmongers in London.
The species were carefully selected to be representative of the UK fish trade and the long history of the Fishmongers’ Company.
The turbot is a highly prized fish, often regarded as the best of flatfish and a chef’s dream.
Illustrated in 2023.
